Outcomes The program has gained wide recognition through past resident artists’ active involvement in exhibitions in Japan and overseas. The program has attempted to facilitate exchange with the local community through various channels, such as presentation of the resident artists’ working process to the public, communication with local artists, and instruction at art clubs in the community. The program has encouraged both production and appreciation of art among local residents, and has contributed to enriching the local culture. |
