KBS Films
Film list (PDF:15KB)
KBS Films were produced from 1930s to 1950s in order to introduce Japanese culture and society to overseas audience. The films, originally made in 16 mm film format are now converted to digital format and available for use in the audiovisual booths in the Library.
The films are quite valuable documentary resources to show the process of making Japanese traditional crafts and everyday life of people at that time. Most of the films are silent and in black/white, some of them have partial English subtitles.
Library holds 39 titles of the KBS Films.
