• On May 21 (Tuesday), an event will take place on the 2nd floor of the JFIC from 3:00pm.
  We are afraid that the JFIC Library on the 1st floor might be a little noisy due to the event. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause the library users.

• Small Exhibition “From Our Rare Book Collection”
  This month's book to be displayed is “Bijdrage tot de kennis van het Japansche rijk” (PDF/263KB) published in Amsterdam in 1833.

  • Display term: May 20 (Mon.) to 24 (Fri.), 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Venue: JFIC Library 1st floor
• We have started our official Facebook.
• A list of new arrivals in April, 2013 (PDF/147KB)

• Book Launch event: From Postwar to Postmodern, Art in Japan 1945-1989: Primary Documents will take place at the JFIC Hall “Sakura” on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 4:00 pm, and the JFIC lounge on the 2nd floor will serve as part of its event space. In this regard, please note that sounds coming from the event may echo through the library on the 1st floor, too.

• "JF Libraries Multi-Catalogue Search (a database enabling to cross-search collections of JFIC Library, Japanese-Language Institute, Urawa, Library , and Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai, Library at once)" is no longer available effective March 31, 2013. Please use each library’s online catalogue.
