Announcement: The Results of “Logo Mark Competition to Celebrate the
40th Anniversary of the Japan Foundation’s Establishment”
The Japan Foundation held a logo mark design competition in the year 2012, which marks the 40th anniversary since the Japan Foundation was established in 1972. The competition targeted university students, vocational school students and high school students inside and outside Japan, who will play an important role in the next generation to further promote international cultural exchange.
The total number of entries reached 70 (37 from Japan, 33 from overseas); 1 design was awarded the Grand Prize Certificate, 1 design was the Certificate of Excellence, and 5 designs were the Certificate of Merit. The design awarded the Grand Prize Certificate was adopted as a “Logo Mark for the 40th Anniversary of the Japan Foundation’s Establishment”. The logo mark will be used for the 40th anniversary programs organized/supported by the Japan Foundation, publications and issues, official website, and the JF original goods.
Award certificate and extra prize are awarded the winners of the Grand Prize Certificate and the Certificate of Excellence (sub-prize money for the Grand Prize Certificate) while award certificate is awarded the five winners of the Certificate of Merit.
