Asia Center's First Year —Aiming to Create Joint Asian Culture—

The Asia Center is the Japan Foundation's new, special unit established in April 2014. It aims to promote people-to-people connections and networking in Asia to create Asian culture together as the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics approach.

By implementing programs in diverse fields including music, theater, film, sports, Japanese-language education, and academia, we support exchange activities between the peoples of Asia in various ways.
