The Asia Leadership Fellow Program (ALFP), a joint program of the International House of Japan and the Japan Foundation, has for the past eleven years brought public intellectuals from Asia to Japan to discuss pan-Asian issues in a collaborative setting.
For the past two months, six ALFP fellows have interacted with each other and with civil society in Japan in interdisciplinary dialogues. They will be addressing a two-day public symposium on the theme "Unity in Diversity: From Exclusive State to Collaborating Communities" exploring the notions of "people," "state" and "security" through art, sexuality, theories and images.
The ALFP invites you to join the fellows in their collective exploration and inquiry.
