"The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Education Network" Calling for public ideas in the naming of the "Network".

The Japan Foundation has started to establish “the Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Education Network (tentative name)” with the aim of promoting and expanding Japanese language education overseas. To date, the “Network” consists of 19 the Japan Foundation Overseas Offices as well as 21 core Japanese language organizations throughout the world.

We plan to progressively increase the number of members in future. In the process of doing this, we would like to call for your ideas in the naming of the “Network”.

We believe that by giving a friendly name to the “Network”, a still wider range of people will become familiar with the Japanese language programs of the member organizations, and that this will furthermore lead to the development of new cooperation and partnerships among the members.
