Thinking with the HeartFA Lecture^Concert on Jazz | From Fats Waller to Oscar Peterson and Diana Krall

Ron Davis, a renowned Canadian jazz pianist and Jack Chambers, a linguist and the professor at the University of Toronto whose jazz criticism of Miles Davis biographies "Milestones" is highly acclaimed, will take you on a wonderful voyage to the world of Canadian jazz through music and words.

Ron Davis is a 2006 Japan Foundation Uchida fellow and will stay in Japan from November 2006. The Uchida Fellowship, sponsored by a donation by the late Genko Uchida, is the program to invite young talented music-related artists and experts from Europe and North America to provide them with opportunities of exchanges and collaborative projects with colleagues in Japan.

The Embassy of Canada will offer 20 pairs of tickets (40 people) for this event.
