Robot Lecture Demonstration
Robot creator Mr. Tomotaka TAKAHASHI (Managing Director of Robo Garage Pty Ltd, Associate Professor of Tokyo University's Research Centre for Advanced Science and Technology) and others were sent to Vladivostok (9 and 10 June, at the Far Eastern Federal University), Khabarovsk (13 and 14 June, at Pacific National University, etc), and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (15, 16 and 18 June at the Sakhalin government, Sakhalin National University, etc.) to give lectures introducing Japan's robotic technology and culture. Demonstrations of the humanoid robot, ROPID, that Mr. Takahashi invented, as well as the dry-cell battery-powered EVOLTA robot were also given.
