Debriefing Session of the Invitation Program for
Curators from China, Korea, and India 2013
The Japan Foundation has been organizing the invitation program for overseas curators and, this year, invites seven young curators from India who specialize in contemporary art and its related fields such as design and photography from July 30 to August 10, 2014.
This program is designed for the curators to gain a better understanding of Japanese contemporary art scene and its historical and social background. They will attend lectures by art professionals in Japan and visit art museums and exhibitions and meet their peers in Tokyo and other cities such as Kanazawa, Osaka, Kyoto, and Nagoya.
Taking this opportunity, we will hold the open seminar and the curators will make presentations of artistic activities in several Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Kochi. Please do not miss this chance to get known with the diverse art scene in India.
