Scenes of Childhood: Sixty Years of Postwar Japan

This is an exhibition of photographs that focuses on the daily lives of children. Images of Japanese children dating from the end of Second World War to the present are captured through the lenses of outstanding photographers such as Ken Domon, Nobuyoshi Araki to name the few. The 100 works in this exhibition act as a document of the children themselves and simultaneously depict them in specific times and spaces throughout Japan, from the past to the present.

This touring exhibition is completed.
