Wochi Kochi (formerly named Kokusai Koryu) is a bimonthly magazine that is intended for not only scholars and students but also anyone interested in international cultural exchange. The various articles, essays, discussions, and interviews in it analyze and discuss various aspects of cultural exchange.
This quarterly provides information on recent publishing trends in Japan and reviews of new titles mainly for overseas publishers. Use this section of the Japan Foundation's website to download fully formatted Acrobat (PDF) versions of Japanese Book News (available only from Volume 16 onwards. Volume 15 can be viewed only in a simple text version).

This journal provides overseas Japanese-language teachers in particular with information on teaching materials, teaching ideas for the classroom, current topics in Japan, and the situation of Japanese-language education both at home and abroad, and more.
(The Japan Foundation has ceased print publication of “Nihongo Kyoiku Tsushin.” No. 63 (January, 2009) was the last printed issue. The web-based version will succeed to the journal.)
This bulletin introduces the Foundation's major activities of the month. In addition to presenting the names of individuals and organizations that received Foundation grants, it contains a calendar of events including exhibitions, performances, film festivals, and international conferences.
The Japan Foundation Newsletter
"The Japan Foundation Newsletter" has ceased publication. The web-based version of the former editions can be downloaded free of charge from http://www.jpf.go.jp/e/publish/jfn/
We now publish an electronic magazine available through email and/or the official website under the title "The Japan Foundation’s E-mail Magazine." The E-mail magazine is sent every two weeks and contains a rundown of The Japan Foundation's current activities as well as information about up-to-date news and events in Japan.

This newsletter provides information and know-how on international exchange activities such as seminars and international festivals in Japan and overseas for those who are in charge of planning and management of international exchange activities in order to foster and support those activities.
