◇Japan-Americas Art Curator Exchange Program invites 5 curators from major museums in US to Japan
The Japan Foundation runs a program inviting art experts such as curators and scholars to Japan to gain insights and experiences that will help them to introduce Japanese contemporary art overseas. This year, we have invited five curators who specialize mainly in contemporary art at museums in the Midwestern and Southern US.

Sharifah Amani, the Malaysian actress who starred in Isao Yukisada's Pigeon from the omnibus series Asian Three-Fold Mirror, shared with us her encounter with the late Malaysian filmmaker Yasmin Ahmad, her experience in the legendary but incomplete film project Wasurenagusa, her thoughts on the New Wave in Malaysian film, and working with her contemporaries.
