Changes in our Business Operation under the Influence of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As a preventive measure against the spread of novel coronavirus infections, a substantial portion of the staff members employed at various offices such as the Japan Foundation (JF) Headquarters (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo), the JF Japanese-Language Institute, Urawa (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture), the JF Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai (Tajiri-cho, Sennan-gun, Osaka Prefecture), and the JF Kyoto Office (Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) are working from home at the moment.

As a result, there may be delays in responding to incoming calls and emails. We understand that this may cause inconvenience, but your understanding and cooperation would be appreciated.

We would also like to inform you now that in light of this situation, we have stopped receiving applications for the following program:

2nd Deadline for FY2020 Grant Program for Dispatching Artists and Cultural Specialists
(We have resumed accepting applications of the Use of the Name of the Japan Foundation as a Supporter.)
