Fellows' Seminars/Symposiums

The Japan Foundation occasionally holds fellows' seminars, symposiums and lecture meetings.

The Japan Foundation held a symposium and two workshops focusing on the novels and their translations of Haruki Murakami, one of the most popular contemporary novelists in the world.
It is aimed at exploring the secret of this Murakami boom and considering what is common and different when his novels are read by people of different nations and of various generations.
