Support for Japanese Studies Organizations

1.Support Program for Development of Infrastructure for Japanese Studies

To strengthen the general basis of Japanese studies overseas, this program is designed to provide intensive support to a limited number of organizations of Japanese studies which have a central role in the country/region (or organizations expected to take such roles in the future).

The Japan Foundation supports Beijing Foreign Studies University to enrich Japanese study courses by dispatching Japanese professors , as well as to invite graduate students and staff to Japan, to conduct research, and to publish books.

In addition, to Peking University, the Japan Foundation dispatches Japanese professors for courses on contemporary Japan and invites graduate students and staff to Japan.

This program is designed to promote Japanese studies overseas by providing grants toward various Japanese studies projects implemented by overseas organization.
