Japan*: Held in 47 prefectures, with 152,267 applicants (141,176 examinees).
2nd Test (December 3)
Overseas: Held in 226 cities in 76 countries/regions, with 379,501 applicants (317,774 examinees).
Japan*: Held in 47 prefectures, with 181,203 applicants (165,500 examinees).

* In Japan, the test is run by Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES).
