Use of Cafeteria

The Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai (hereafter referred to as "the Institute"), has a cafeteria for training participants who need to make dietary arrangement for religious or other reasons.
In addition to regular menu items such as curry rice and udon noodles, the cafeteria offers halal food and set menus featuring traditional international dishes.
The cafeteria is also open to outside customers during weekday lunch hours (11:50-13:30). Please enjoy a meal together with the training participants!

  • *The cafeteria is self-service.
  • *Smoking is not permitted in the cafeteria.
  • *Payment is cash only.

Cafeteria Hours

Breakfast: 7:00-8:45
Lunch: 11:50-13:30 (last order 13:30)
Dinner: 18:00-20:30 (last order 20:00)
Open to the public only during weekday lunch hours; please leave by 14:00.

Prohibited Items

  • Smoking and other activities prohibited by the Institute, as well as other disruptive behavior,
  • Acts involving the exchange of money, such as selling goods,
  • Political activities and similar activities,
  • Religious activities and similar activities, and
  • Any other acts that aim to spread, promote, solicit, or practice assertions, ideas, or doctrines by an individual or a specific group.

Anyone who engages in any of the above prohibited acts will not be allowed to enter the institute thereafter.
