The theme of July's monthly display is " Festivals ".
Osaka, where our center is located, is one of the regions in Japan with the largest numbers of summer festivals. So many festivals are held in July that people say, “From Aizen to Sumiyoshi.”
The library has selected and displayed books on Japanese festivals.
We also have books on the Tenjin Festival and the Gion Festival, two of Japan’s most famous Festivals, so please come and peruse them in the library!
