Forum “Performing Arts and Art: Toward Developing a US-Japan Network

Purpose:
This conference was held as a forum for experts from the US and Japan to hold dialogues on the performing arts, fine arts, building a network of experts in Japan and the US in these fields, and future developments, based on recommendations made at CULCON.
Overview of Agenda:
Vibrant discussions were held in the performing arts session on the condition of performing arts networks in the US and Japan and policies on US and Japan exchange, with a focus on theater. In the fine arts session, enthusiastic discussions were held on the approach to art exhibits in Japan, US-Japan arts exchanges, and reciproal exchanges in contemporary art.
