The Task Force invited young researchers and outside experts who are engaged in Japanese-US exchanges in a range of fields for a half-day forum with the aim of cultivating the next generation of leaders who will help to strengthen US-Japan relations and strengthen US-Japan exchanges over an even broader scope—the mission of the Next Generation Task Force. The Japan Next Generation Task Force took the initiative in organizing this forum, and only invited Japan and US CULCON members, US Next Generation Task Force members and intellectuals in related fields. All participants had an opportunity to speak.
