Before making a reservation for the test

  1. ①Access Prometric's registration website (hereinafter called the registration website)Open in new window and obtain a Prometric ID.
  2. ②Check the test date and test venue for the country where you will take the test. JFT-Basic Test Schedule in FY2025（PDF:182KB）
  3. ③Make a reservation for the test through the registration website up to 3 business days prior to the test date (4 business days before if the test date is on a Saturday and Sunday). Reservation changes or cancellations can also be made through the registration website.

Take the test

On the day of the test, the test results (total score and assessment results) will be displayed on the computer screen after the test is over

Within 5 business days after taking the test, the notification of assessment results will be issued on the registration website

1. If you are paying the test fee online

  1. Log in to the registration website with your Prometric ID
  2. Select the test date, test venue and test start time
  3. Enter the required payment information to pay the test fee online
  4. Reservation complete

2. If you are paying the test fee in cash

  1. Purchase a voucher at the voucher purchase center to pay the test fee
  2. Log in to the registration website with your Prometric ID
  3. Select the test date, test venue and test start time
  4. Enter the voucher number and expiration date
  5. Reservation complete
  • *The payment method for the test fee may differ depending on the country. Please visit the registration website for details.
  • *The voucher is a number needed for test reservation. It is issued when you pay the test fee and has an expiration date. Please visit Prometric's websiteOpen in new window before taking the test.

Take the test

After the test is over, the test results (total score and assessment results) will be displayed on the computer screen
