［Announcement］“Asia Lounge” Conversation Series

Full Lineup and Program Schedule Announced

From November 1 to 8, the Japan Foundation and Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) will present the conversation series “Asia Lounge.” The program will feature daily online conversations between leading film directors from various Asian countries and regions and their Japanese peers, as part of the 33rd TIFF to be held from October 31 to November 9.

In the “Asia Lounge” series, Asian filmmakers will share the directions they will take as a result of the limits imposed on international travel by the current circumstances, and their thoughts about the drastic effects the coronavirus pandemic has had on film production and theatrical releasing, and interaction and collaboration between filmmakers. We hope you can join us for these exciting and insightful conversations.
