Temporary Reopening of the Japan Foundation Website

The Japan Foundation website, which had been temporarily taken offline in response to a PHP vulnerability, has been reopened as of October 23, 2026, after implementing measures to ensure its security.

The website is currently operating under temporary measures with certain functions restricted. As a result, the site search function is currently unavailable. In addition, some pages may behave differently from their normal operation.

We will continue to work toward a full restoration of services, including implementing a PHP version upgrade and other permanent security measures.
