The Japan Foundation (JF), in collaboration with Producers Connect Japan (PCJ), will dispatch performing arts experts to the "Asian Producers' Platform Camp (APP Camp) 2024," which will be held at Kuala Lumpur and Penang in Malaysia from July 13th (Saturday) to July 20th (Sunday), 2024.

APP is a platform started in 2014 with the aim of deepening networking among performing arts producers and creators in the Asia-Pacific region. At the APP Camp, held once a year by APP, participants from each country stay together for about a week and gain knowledge about each country's culture, social situation, cultural policy, the activities of artists, etc.
By deepening their knowledge, exchanging opinions, and making presentations among participants, participants can deepen their networks, foster relationships of trust, and improve their own abilities.

JF has dispatched participants from Japan three times from 2014, when the APP camp had been launched, to 2017.
This is the 10th APP camp, and approximately 50 participants from 15 countries and regions are expected to gather in Kuala Lumpur and Penang, Malaysia. We hope that Japan's participation will lead to further development and expansion of activities through networking with many professionals involved in the performing arts.
