The 54th International Speech Contest in Japanese

The Japan Foundation hosted The Fifty-Fourth International Speech Contest in Japanese on Saturday, June 8, 2013 in cooperation with International Education Center and Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. (The outline is described below)

12 winners from 11 countries / regions of the preliminary round, chosen out of 121 applicants from 29 countries / regions, made interesting speeches on what they think and how they feel through their daily life in Japan and exchanges with Japanese people.
