Message of Congratulations on the 50th Anniversary of the Japan Foundation Awards
I am very pleased to hear that you are commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Japan Foundation Awards with great celebration. On behalf of the China Japanese Education Association, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Foundation, and to express my highest esteem for President Umemoto Kazuyoshi and all the members of the Foundation.
Over the past 50 years, the Japan Foundation has worked tirelessly to promote cultural and artistic exchange between China and Japan, and to promote Japanese-language education and research programs on Japan in China, while expending immense efforts to promote international dialogue between both nations in various fields. Through these great endeavors, the Foundation has greatly furthered the understanding of cultural and international exchange between China and Japan. I wish to express gratitude for the selection of our Association for the Japan Foundation Special Prize in 2005. Accordingly, on the occasion of this great milestone, I wish once again to express my congratulations and, as a former awardee, pray that the Foundation continues with us to further deepen international exchange for many years to come.
I conclude my greetings by wishing for the health of all of you.
