TPAM in Yokohama 2014 (Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama 2014)
The Japan Foundation, in collaboration with Kanagawa Arts Foundation, Yokohama Arts Foundation, and Japan Center, Pacific Basin Arts Communication (PARC), hosts “TPAM in Yokohama 2014 (Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama 2014)”. TPAM began in 1995 in Tokyo, being as a market for performing arts including theater, dance and music. In 2011, it moved to Yokohama, changed its name of “M” from “Market” to “Meeting”, and restarted the event to focus more on meeting people and networking.
“TPAM in Yokohama 2014” will set its main venues to be Yokohama Creative City Center, Kanagawa Arts Theatre, BankART Studio NYK, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse No.1, and ST Spot, and will serve as a platform where creators, professionals and audiences of performing arts can get together. Cooperating with various facilities and organizations, this event will showcase young directors’ unique productions with innovative concepts and emerging creative pieces from Asia and other overseas countries, and will also present programs to exchange information through meeting and networking.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at the TPAM in the international city of Yokohama, where you can witness cutting-edge and emerging performing arts works.
