The Japan Foundation (JF) and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) will co-host a symposium titled Architects of the U.S.-Japan Alliance: Past, Present, and Future. Seizing the opportune moment of leadership change in both the U.S. and Japan, this event will reflect on the strategic significance of the U.S.-Japan alliance and help chart a course for its future.
Featuring both longstanding luminaries who have played key roles in the development of the alliance and emerging leaders from both countries, the symposium will highlight the remarkable evolution of the U.S.-Japan partnership. It will also explore the critical leadership roles these two nations will play in maintaining stability and prosperity in an increasingly complex global security environment.
