To commemorate the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation, the Japan Foundation is organizing an exchange program to deepen mutual understanding between young people in ASEAN countries and Japan.

This project provides an opportunity for international exchange and idea sharing with young people of the same generation from diverse backgrounds, targeting university undergraduates who wish to take concrete actions to solve social issues under the common theme of "co-creating a better world in 2050." Through online training, field trips to ASEAN countries, and a study visit to Japan, participants work in collaboration and create action plans to solve social issues such as “the aging society,” “diversity,” and “education on environmental problems and disaster prevention.” The Action Plan will was presented in Tokyo as the culmination of the program.
