Participants’ Voices

Through this workshop, I learned the meaning of collaboration, experienced many things in preparation for my presentation, and enjoyed discussions with other researchers more than I had imagined. I was able to learn new ideas from other participants' perspectives that I did not have, and I keenly felt that my viewpoints were broadened.

Working with researchers in different fields has been the most rewarding experience for me. I am grateful that my researcher friends pointed out things to me that I had not noticed before. I now have a strong feeling that I cannot do such in-depth research in such a short time by myself, and I am more aware of the importance of collaborative research.

I met with colleagues from various countries and discussed research with them. I feel very excited about the new perspectives I have gained. When discussing with colleagues from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, everything feels so different. This was the first academic experience for me to discuss with this intensity.

I have learned a lot in the past few months. I gained the basic knowledge that I need to acquire as a researcher, and with the guidance of professors, I have completed a mock panel presentation. I learned a lot from the roundtable discussions, interaction with students and professors, and how to write a research grant application. I also made friends. For the first time I recognized the importance of cooperation and learned how to make my presentation more perfect.
