The 55th International Speech Contest in Japanese
The Japan Foundation, in cooperation with International Education Center and Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, hosted The Fifty-Fifth International Speech Contest in Japanese on May 24, 2014. (The outline is described below.) 12 winners from 10 countries/regions have been chosen out of 97 applicants from 22 countries/regions in the preliminary round to participate in the Contest.
Participants made interesting speeches on what they think and how they feel through their daily life in Japan and exchanges with Japanese people.
Recipients of respective awards are as follows:
