This group exhibition featuring two artists each from Japan and Thailand took a critical view of the borders between countries like Thailand and Japan as well as regions such as Europe, America, and Asia. In planning the exhibit, the curator Tani Arata discovered borders even among the four artists and the natures of their works, such as modernism/formalism in the art of Sansern Milindasuta, and presence/non-presence in that of Tsuchiya Kimio. The show featured 29 works, including two-dimensional, sculptural, and installation works.
