15 Tracks:
Contemporary Southeast Asian Art
Exhibition

This exhibition was reconstructed for Japan from the “36 Ideas from Asia: Contemporary Southeast Asian Art” exhibition that was organized by the Singapore Art Museum and toured four European cities in 2002. Fifteen artists from 10 ASEAN countries (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam) were chosen from the 36 original participants for presentation in Tokyo and Fukuoka. The number of practices and forms of expression on display testified to the diversity of contemporary art in Southeast Asia.
