Out the Window: Spaces of Distraction

Exhibition

Flyer of OUT THE WINDOW Tokyo venueexhibition

The inspiration for “Out the Window” came from the idea that an image is not just a view from a window. In the mid-2000s, digital technology quickly became more prevalent and made it easier to cross national borders and opened up new possibilities for expression. Sensitively perceiving these shifts in technology and media, visual forms of artistic expression in China, Korea and Japan were introduced through installations, videos, and performances in collaboration with young curators from the three countries.
