A Perspective on Contemporary Art
Emotional Drawing
Exhibition

Drawing is an extremely simple act of sketching lines. This exhibition showcased artists whose work understands and realizes drawing not only as something dimensional like a draft of a picture, but also as its own independent form of expression. At the Tokyo and Kyoto exhibitions in 2008, the artworks of 16 artists from Asia and the Near and Middle East reflected the current state of development from conventional types of drawings, such as line drawings and watercolors, to animation and installation. At the Seoul stage of the tour, the selection of artworks was adjusted slightly and the exhibition expanded to include 18 artists.
