New Voices in Japanese Studies is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed academic journal for emerging researchers in or from Australia and New Zealand with a research focus on Japan.

KAKEHASHI Project (U.S. Portion) Final Report

As part of the Japanese government initiative to promote youth exchanges between Japan and North America, the Japan Foundation organized the KAKEHASHI Project—the bridge for tomorrow, for two Japanese fiscal years from 2013 with an aim to expand opportunities for the younger generation in Japan and the United States to promote mutual understanding and friendship. This report consists of a summary the KAKEHASHI Project, the programs and activities presentation and the media coverage.

International Conference on Empowering Women

International Conference on Empowering Women was held in Tokyo, June 2010. To mark the occasion of Spain's Presidency of the European Union, this seminar emphasized the opportunity for a dialogue between Europe and Japan in the area of women empowerment. Political, legal, economic, and cultural aspects were considered and reported in this book.
