Invitations are extended to such overseas specialists as Japanese-language teachers and foreign-service officers, as well as to Japanese-language students for training programs in Japan. (These include the Training Program for Overseas Teachers of the Japanese Language, the Japanese-Language Study Program for Young Foreign-Service Officers, and Study-Tour Awards for Outstanding Foreign Students of the Japanese Language.)
