Japanese Studies Fellow Conference
Since 2022, JF has implemented the Japanese Studies Fellow Conferences twice a year with co-organizers in Japan, with the aim of providing an official event at which Fellows can present their research projects as well as create networks with their fellow researchers.
- On November 8, 2024, the “JF-GJS Initiative: Japan Foundation Fellow Conference 2024” was held in Tokyo (co-organized by Tobunken, the Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia of The University of Tokyo).
- On October 13, 2023, “The Japan Foundation Japanese Studies Fellow Conference 2023” was held in Kyoto (co-organized by Nichibunken, the International Research Center for Japanese Studies).
- On September 29, 2023, the “JF-GJS Initiative: Japan Foundation Fellow Conference 2023” was held in Tokyo (co-organized by Tobunken, the Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia of The University of Tokyo).
- On December 10, 2022, the “Japan Foundation Fellow Conference” was held in Kyoto (co-organized by Nichibunken, the International Research Center for Japanese Studies).
- On July 1, 2022, the “JF-GJS Initiative: The 1st Japan Foundation Fellow Conference” was held in Tokyo (co-organized by Tobunken, the Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia of The University of Tokyo).
